The Labyrinth of Desire was written by Caridad Svich and adapted from a play by Lope de Vega. The director, Rebecca Rivas, wanted to have costumes that were both modern and retro to the Spanish golden age. Additionally she wanted to incorporate a game character feel. I gave each character a color and at least one retro element once they entered the game world.
